A representative from the Children’s Services Directorate was present and made representations in respect of the appeal.  The appellant for Case 12/14-15 attended the meeting and made representations to the Committee.

Resolved:

(i)         that Case 12/14-15 be refused on the grounds that there were no exceptional circumstances.

The Officer representing Children’s Services was unable to attend and Members took advice from our Legal Representative.

Members Resolved:

(i)         that Case 12/14-15 be deferredand requested that arrangements be put in place so the applicant was not prejudiced prior to the application being heard in December.  This was an interim position and cannot be taken as any indication of any future Transport Appeal decision.
