That an amount of £25,000 be awarded from the Paignton allocation of the Community Infrastructure Levy Fund to Paignton Cricket Club towards providing a new local grass cricket facility for Paignton Cricket Club, multiple local schools and the community.
Reasons for the decision:
The applications were considered by the CiL Spend Panel on 6 August 2024 and recommendations were made to the Divisional Director of Planning, Housing and Climate Emergency.
Alternative options considered:
An alternative option would have been to refuse the application, this option was discounted as the application met the criteria for funding.
Implementation:
This decision will come into force with effect from 6 August 2024.

Determination of an application that sought £25,000 from the Community Infrastructure Levy Fund (neighbourhood proportion), for providing a new local grass cricket facility for Paignton Cricket Club, multiple local schools and the community. The application was submitted by Paignton Cricket Club.
