Decision:

That the time of the meetings of the Children and Young People’s Overview and Scrutiny Sub-Board be changed from 9.30 am – 12.30 pm to 3.00 pm – 6.00 pm with effect from June 2024.

Reasons for the decision:

To enable more young people to attend the meetings.

This decision will come into force immediately.

Information:

Following feedback, the Chairwoman and Vice-Chairwoman requested that the time of the meetings of the Children and Young People’s Overview and Scrutiny Sub-Board be changed from 9.30 am – 12.30 pm to 3.00 pm – 6.00 pm with effect from June 2024. This was due to young people finding it difficult to attend in the mornings and the afternoon/early evening being more appropriate so that the Sub-Board could hear the voice of the young people at its meetings.

In accordance with Standing Order A4 the Chief Executive, in consultation with the Chairwoman of the Children and Young People’s Overview and Scrutiny Sub-Board has taken the below decision.

The Group Leaders were also consulted on this proposal on 18 March 2024.
