Terms of disposal have been agreed in principle on commercially acceptable terms.
Alternative options considered:
The Council may choose not to dispose of this asset, however the use of the land offers no use to the Council, and the Council would remain liable for the maintenance of the land, therefore there is no reason to object.

That the Director of Finance, in consultation with the Strategic Head of Asset Management, be authorised to grant the disposal of land forming 37.34sq.m. sited to the rear of 41 North Rocks Road, Paignton, TQ4 7BT by way of private sale for £2,000 exclusive of VAT.
The disposal constitutes a small parcel of land sited to the rear of 41 North Rocks Road, Paignton, TQ4 7BT with the land consisting of a grassed verge running adjacent to Dartmouth Road, being a public highway. The land is to be sold to the property owner of 41 North Rocks Road, Paignton, TQ4 7BT. The terms of the transfer of the site will be subject to those agreed and form no nuisance or annoyance to neighbouring land users.
