Reasons for the decision:

The proposals in this Order are to assist with the regeneration of Torquay Harbourside.

The bays outside Triton Galleries were temporarily replaced with a bus stop when the Strand Public Realm works commenced in November 2023, it is now proposed that the bus stop will now remain in place on a permanent basis.  The pay and display bays in the layby are proposed to be replaced by disabled badge holders only parking spaces (maximum stay of 4 hours), as advertised within the “Borough of Torbay (Various Streets, Torquay) (Control of Waiting, Loading and Unloading) Amendment Order No2 2024”.

No objections were received in response to the proposals.
