That an amount of £25,000, as agreed by the Torquay Neighbourhood Forum, be awarded from the Torquay allocation of the Community Infrastructure Levy Fund to the Unleashed Theatre Company for work to carry out repairs to the flat roof sections and install a kitchen space at the Royal Lyceum Theatre.
Reasons for the decision:
The applications were considered by the CiL Spend Panel on 3 June 2025 and recommendations were made to the Divisional Director of Planning, Housing and Climate Emergency.
Alternative options considered:
An alternative option would have been to refuse the application, this option was discounted as the application met the criteria for funding.
Implementation:
This decision will come into force with effect from 3 June 2025.

Determination of an application that sought £31,722 from the Community Infrastructure Levy Fund (neighbourhood proportion), for work to carry out repairs to the flat roof sections and install a kitchen space at the Royal Lyceum Theatre.
