A commitment ceremony is a formal way for couples who cannot or choose not to marry or form a civil partnership. Unlike a marriage or civil partnership this ceremony has no legal status.
You can personalise your ceremony by including readings and music. You can include relatives and friends in the ceremony, have personal vows of commitment or give rings to each other.
