Consultation process

The policy was co-designed with partners via a multi agency workshop and engagement with those that has used the service via telephone interviews. Further consultation on the policy through online survey and distribution to partners and representative organisations.

Consultees

Residents of Torbay, service users, Occupational Therapists, Adults Social Care Foundations, registered providers for housing, support agencies.

Reason for inclusion in Forward Plan: The Policy has been out to consultation and now requires sign off.

Key Risks: Having a policy in place enable the organisation to be to fare and transparent in its operation of the DFG grant and respond to the changing needs of our community and inflationary pressure on materials. That it is legally compliant with legislative changes and the requirements for such a policy.
