Letters, descriptive plans and report to Members.

Consultees

Tormohun Ward Councillors, Torquay Town Centre Community Partnership and Torbay Local Access Forum.

Reason for inclusion in Forward Plan: Disposal of a small area of amenity land to enable redevelopment of the adjoining Palm Court Hotel to the east, release of a small capital receipt and reduction of maintenance responsibilities.

Key Risks: There may be title deficiencies or restrictions which hamper the disposal, and an Application under the Council’s agreed Community Asset Transfer Policy and consultation with Local Access Forum may delay or prevent a sale, thus delaying or preventing redevelopment of the adjoining site.
