Healthy Torbay Supplementary Planning Document

A new Supplementary Planning Document (SPD) to support the implementation of the Torbay Local Plan 2012-2030's policies relating to health and wellbeing.  This document includes guidance on a number of public health spatial planning issues such as Health Impact Assessment and healthy urban design.

Consultation process

Supplementary Planning Documents (SPD) must undergo consultation as set out in the Town and Country Planning (Local Planning) Regulations 2012.  These require at least one public consultation for a minimum of four weeks.  Following consultation the SPD will need to be agreed by Council.

Consultees

Any person may make representations on SPDs.  Consultation will take place with a range of stakeholders including those persons/organisations contained on the spatial planning consultation database, statutory consultees and the wider community.
