Consultation process

Reports in relation to the final revenue budget will be circulated to the Council’s key stakeholders (in accordance with statute).

 

The Mayor will set out draft budget savings and Transformation Project proposals for consultation.

 

The Mayor will request Executive Lead Members and officers to outline the implications for budget savings and Transformation Project proposals.  The Overview and Scrutiny Board will respond to these proposals and made recommendations to the Mayor and Council.  The Mayor will consider these comments before Mayor proposes a final set of budget saving proposals which will form part of the revenue budget which will be presented to Council in February 2017.
