It was reported that in accordance with the wishes of the Conservative Group and Liberal Democrat Group, the membership of the Committee had been amended for this meeting by including Councillors Lewis (C) and Long instead of Councillors Thomas (D) and Darling (S) respectively.

The Minutes of the meetings of the Investment and Regeneration Committee held on 11 and 17 December 2018 were confirmed as a correct record and signed by the Chairman.

To consider passing a resolution to exclude the press and public from the meeting prior to consideration of the following items on the agenda on the grounds that exempt information (as defined in Paragraph 3 of Schedule 12A of the Local Government Act 1972 (as amended) is likely to be disclosed.

Prior to consideration of the items in Minutes 196 to 199 the press and public were formally excluded from the meeting on the grounds that the items involved the likely disclosure of exempt information as defined in paragraph 3 of Part 1 of Schedule 12A of the Local Government Act 1972 (as amended).

To receive an update on existing investments.

Liam Montgomery, TDA, provided an update in respect of an existing investment and a potential alternative use for the site, which was not supported by the Committee.

The Committee considered and discussed the submitted exempt draft Council report which set out a proposal to increase the level of the Investment and Regeneration Fund and revise the area for investment.
