15.	Exclusion of the Press and Public View the background to item 15. To consider passing a resolution to exclude the press and public from the meeting prior to consideration of the following item on the agenda on the grounds that exempt information (as defined by the Local Government (Access to Information) Act, 1985) is likely to be disclosed. Minutes: Prior to consideration of the items in Minute 8 and 9 the press and public were formally excluded from the meeting on the grounds that the item involved the likely disclosure of exempt information as defined in paragraph 1 and 2 of Part 1 of Schedule 12A of the Local Government Act 1972 (as amended).
16.	Director of Public Health Appointment To consider the Appointment of a Director of Public Health and make a recommendation to the Council. Minutes: Members considered the appointment of Director of Public Health. Resolved: That Caroline Dimond be appointed as the Director of Public Health.
17.	Head of Paid Service To review the terms and conditions of the Head of Paid Service. Minutes: Members considered an exempt report that was circulated at the meeting. There were no actions arising following the discussion of the exempt report.
