That £225,000 be allocated from the Comprehensive Spending Review Reserve to commission specialist project resource for the Council’s Torbay Digital Transformation Programme.

To enable the Council to deliver this key transformation programme.

Information:
Torbay Council has a number of significant transformation programmes which aim at transforming the way the Council delivers services, making best use of IT and streamlining of processes to make best use of our reducing finances. The Torbay Digital Transformation Programme is a key part of this work and the Council does not have sufficient capacity or expertise to take this project forward. It was therefore proposed to commission additional expert support in order to drive this programme forward, which would be funded from the Comprehensive Spending Review Reserve.
