That an amount of £20,000, be awarded from the Paignton allocation of the Community Infrastructure Levy Fund to People’s Parkfield CIC for vital remedial work to bring the BMX track to a safe and usable state at Parkfield, Paignton.
Reasons for the decision:
The application was considered by the CiL Spend Panel 1 October 2024 and recommendations were made to the Divisional Director of Planning, Housing and Climate Emergency.
Alternative options considered:
An alternative option would have been to refuse the application, this option was discounted as the application met the criteria for funding.
Implementation:
This decision will come into force with effect from 13 December 2024.

Determination of an application that sought £20,000 from the Community Infrastructure Levy Fund (neighbourhood proportion), for vital remedial work to bring the BMX track to a safe and usable state at Parkfield, Paignton. The application was submitted by the People’s Parkfield CIC.
The Divisional Director of Planning, Housing and Climate Emergency consulted with members of the CiL Spend Panel on 1 October 2024.
