Decision:
That the Council Tax Support Scheme 2025/2026 attached at Appendix 1 to this Record of Decision be approved.
Reasons for the decision:
To implement the decision of the Council from 5 December 2024 to update all income bands by the September 2024 Consumer Price Index rate of 1.7% for the Council Tax Support Scheme.

This decision will come into force and may be implemented immediately.

At the Council meeting held on 5 December 2024 the Council approved the changes to the Council Tax Support Scheme for 2025/2026 and gave delegated authority to the Director of Finance to increase all income bands by the September 2024 Consumer Price Index rate of 1.7% (Minute 69/12/24 refers). The Director of Finance has now made the changes to the Scheme as attached at Appendix 1 to this Record of Decision.
