That the amount of £25,000.00 be awarded in principle from the Torquay allocation of the Community Infrastructure Levy Fund to Shiphay and Upper Chelston Community Partnership on behalf of Upton Athletic Football Club for the Armada Park changing room renovation.   

 

Reasons for the decision:

The applications were considered by the CiL Spend Panel on 15 February 2024 and recommendations were made to the Divisional Director of Planning, Housing and Climate Emergency.

Alternative options considered:

An alternative option would have been to refuse the application, this option was discounted as the application met the criteria for funding.

 

Implementation:

This decision will come into force with effect from 15 February 2024.

 

Information:

Determination of an application that sought £18,447.50 from the Community Infrastructure Levy Fund (neighbourhood proportion), for Armada Park changing room renovation.  The application was submitted by Shiphay and Upper Chelston Community Partnership on behalf of Upton Athletic Football Club. 

 

The CiL Spend Panel met on 15 February 2024 and recommended that the Divisional Director of Planning, Housing and Climate Change approve the application.
