Information:
Torbay Council’s RIPA (Regulation of Investigation Power’s Act) Policy and Guidance Manual has been reviewed and updated to reflect changes in legislation and national guidance.
Alongside the above the Council has developed a policy for the Use of Social Media in Investigations – this provides guidance to staff who may be using social media content to undertake searches on individuals or to assist in any investigations they are conducting.
