Purpose:
Prior to the Assistant Directors’ consideration of the planning application a report was published on the Council’s Website which set out the proposed application, submitted written representations and site details of the application. Since publication of the decision pack no further negative representations were received.
Prior to consideration of the application the Cabinet Member for Infrastructure, Planning and Culture and the Chairman of the Planning Committee were consulted, and the case report was duly published in advance allowing for the opportunity for further representations by any elected member.
Decision:
Approved subject to the conditions detailed in the officer report.
Reasons for the decision:
The Assistant Director for Planning and Transport considered a Section 73 application for minor material amendments relating to the variation of condition relating to application P/2019/0348. Condition: P1 - Plans. Substitute drawings to permit construction of stairs, lift and ramp internal to car park. The Assistant Director has considered the planning case officer report and agrees with the conclusion that the proposed minor material amendment is considered to be acceptable for conditional approval, having regard to the Development Plan, and all other material considerations.
Alternative options considered:
Alternative options included deferring or refusing the application.
Implementation:
The decision of the Assistant Director can be implemented with immediate effect.
