CONDITIONS CONSISTENT WITH THE OPERATING SCHEDULE
General
1. Staff involved in the sale of alcohol shall receive appropriate training in relation to their responsibilities under the Licensing Act, including age verification and refusing sales to persons who appear drunk.
The prevention of crime and disorder
1. The premises has an alarm system in place and a camera that covers the entry/exit.
Public safety
1. Appropriate fire safety procedures are in place including fire extinguishers.
2. All emergency exits shall be kept free from obstruction at all times.
The prevention of public nuisance
1. Clear and legible notices will be prominently displayed to remind customers to leave quietly and have regard to our neighbours.
The protection of children from harm
1. The premises shall operate a Challenge 25 Policy whereby any individual who appears to be under the age of 25 shall be required to provide an approved form of photographic identification as outlined within the Torbay Council Licensing Statement of Principles.
2. Challenge 25 posters will be prominently displayed within the premises.
3. The premises shall keep a Refusals Register and record the date, time and description of all persons refused the sale of alcohol.
4. The website will display a disclaimer advising customers that a date of birth is required to order goods and a person over the age of 18 years will be required to sign for the delivery.
5. All customers ordering products online will be required to enter their date of birth before purchasing to confirm that they are over 18 years of age.
