General
1. On Thursday, Friday and Saturday evenings from 5.00pm until close two members of staff aged 18 or over must be on duty.
2. In-house training must be provided to all staff, particularly in relation to the sale of alcohol to underage persons and specific problems at weekends and school holidays.
3. CCTV recordings must be kept for a minimum of 14 days.
4. A CCTV camera must be fixed to the outside of the premises to cover the perimeters to the front of the property.
5. A register of refused alcohol sales must be kept on the premises.
6. The Designated Premises Supervisor must attend the store regularly to ensure legislation is being complied with.
7. An adoption of an under 21's policy, whereby any person that looks under 21 and attempts to purchase alcohol is challenged about their age must be put into practice.
8. Signage at the point of entry to the store and point of sale telling customers that it is illegal to sell alcohol to under 18's or for an adult to buy alcohol for an under 18 must be displayed.
9. Signage at the point of sale to remind the seller that alcohol must not be sold to under 18's and to remind staff what forms of identification to accept where there is doubt about a customers age must be displayed.
10. Alcohol must be located so that it can be observed at all times either under direct supervision or by use of CCTV.
