The Stronger Communities Board

The Stronger Communities Board is our governing body and is chaired by a representative from one of the responsible authorities. The board meet quarterly and this provides a forum for senior staff from the partnerships statutory members to share information and advice on key issues.

Devon and Cornwall Police and Crime Commissioner (PCC)

Although not a ‘responsible authority’ under the Crime and Disorder Act 1998, Police and Crime Commissioners work closely with Community Safety Partnerships to reduce crime and anti-social behaviour.  Funding for CSPs comes from the Office of The Police and Crime Commissioner (OPCC) and therefore both have a duty to work closely and take each other’s priorities into account.
