Traffic Regulation Orders (TROs) are made to control the flow of traffic and make sure that people park safely and conveniently. They can only be introduced following the appropriate legal process.

The following TROs are currently being proposed in Brixham:

Mount Pleasant Road / Elkins Hill / Garlic Road / North View Road - Consultation

Following comments made to our department by the emergency services, regarding a number of access issues they have experienced in the above roads, we are considering restrictions in pinch point areas along these roads.

We are aware of the affect any such restrictions will have on the existing parking in the area, however the concerns of the emergency services regarding vehicle access, as well as the effect for general access by refuse and delivery vehicles in these areas, must be considered.

Plans and a questionnaire regarding these proposed changes available below. We would be grateful if all residents or affected parties could complete the questionnaire to assist us in determining the level of support for this proposal.

Questionnaires can be returned via email to highways@torbay.gov.uk or to Brixham Town Council offices.
