A great use of this building. The refurbishment costs will probably run into the millions so s fantastic proposal by the developer

We currently have more than enough hotels and luxury flats in this area.
This high rise building is too dominant in an area much loved by so many residents and holidaymakers.
There are other areas in greater need of more development - e.g.: Torwood Street which has been a boarded up eyesore for so long.
It will destroy many residents' and hotels' views.
It is too radical - far more acceptable is the design offered by Mervyn Seal.
Look at the terrible mistakes made previously around the harbour, Shirley Towers being one of them.
It could be a financial catastrophe, I cannot imagine anyone in their right minds wanting to live there in the face of a South Westerly gale.
English Heritage are very much against this plan and we support them although we did not get a chance to sign the petition.
