Flower beds

Flower bed maintenance and planting has also been suspended until further notice.

Grass cutting

In line with Government advice the areas being cut on behalf of Torbay Council are slowly returning to normal.  All highway verges are now programmed to be cut, however in order to comply with guidance from Public Health England and the control measures arising from the necessary risk assessments, the round is taking longer.

Park waste and dog bins

Park waste bins and dog bin emptying had been reduced but is returning to normal (although there is increased usage in many areas). Please be mindful that in light of this we are asking residents and visitors to be responsible and take their litter home with them. Routine park inspections are being carried out.

Playgrounds

Playgrounds are now open, along with outdoor gyms. All playgrounds and outdoor gym equipment within the area have clear signage displayed regarding safe social distancing measures.
