You will help to promote safe relationships while contributing to ongoing assessment and care planning, ensuring that Family Time is both purposeful and child-centred. <br><br>In this role, you will supervise Family Time sessions in a safe and supportive environment, ensuring the wellbeing of children at all times. You will support children before, during, and after Family Time, recognising and responding to their emotional needs, particularly where there has been trauma or disruption. <br><br>You will work closely with social workers, foster carers, and other professionals to ensure a joined-up approach to planning and reviewing Family Time. We are also redesigning our market framework to have a wider impact on provision at either end of the local supported housing supply, so you would be covering a span of provision from preventative accommodation services to services for people with highly complex needs.<br><br>You would play a pivotal role in supporting providers and improving performance across a wide range of services. You will support lead commissioners on joint commissioning initiatives and funding bids, advocating for resources to ensure the needs of the Torbay population are met. This role will entail managing complex cases and undertaking statutory interventions using statutory and legislative frameworks.&nbsp; You will work closely with legal teams, courts, and multi-agency partners, to ensure timely and effective planning and decision-making that is child focussed. You will be responsible for the care planning of children and young people, who may be living at home or looked after. <br> <br>You will play an intrinsic role in working with Children, Young People and their Families, ensuring their wishes and feelings are heard, whilst leading and managing care proceedings cases.
