Community testing for people with NO COVID-19 symptoms

How community testing for asymptomatic people works in Torbay.

Community testing provides regular lateral flow (LFD) tests for people without symptoms of COVID-19.

One in three people with COVID-19 has no symptoms. Regular testing helps to identify them so they can isolate and prevent spread of the virus.

Testing is now available for everyone in the community - anybody who lives or works in Torbay.

How community testing works

  • LFD tests are taken twice a week
  • The result is uploaded to Test and Trace
  • You must take certain actions once you get your test results
  • Watch this video produced by the Local Democracy Reporter at Devon Live, showing how our community testing service at Quay West works.
