This scheme known as 'Local Restrictions Support Grant (Closed)' is funded by the Government on a rolling programme for all the time there are National or Local restrictions requiring closures.
Your business will receive these grant amounts whilst your business is closed. If as a result of changes to tiers, you are legally allowed to reopen the grant values will change for the periods you are allowed to open. The grant amounts will change to the payment and you will be paid at the levels in the scheme for businesses not legally required to close.
In addition to the above, rate-paying businesses that had to close and operate within the retail, hospitality and leisure sectors will also receive a one-off grant worth up to £9,000. You do not need to re-apply for this grant it will be paid automatically.
The Local Restrictions Support Grant counts towards state aid. The rules are fully explained in the government state aid guidance. By accepting this grant you must confirm that you are not in breach of these rules.
