An exciting new workshop for TDA Business, delivered by Andrew Macmillan from Boyce Hatton Solicitors and Emily Tucker from South Devon College.

This workshop has been designed to provide an Introduction to Employment Law. It will cover off some of the most common questions that can arise for a business looking to begin, or already employing staff.

Andrew is Head of the Employment Department at Boyce Hatton Solicitors with over 25 years’ legal experience and will cover:

  • Apprentices
  • Employment status
  • Discrimination, particularly Age Discrimination
  • Recruitment/Contracts/Policies 

Emily Tucker is the Head of Apprenticeships and Employer Engagement at South Devon College and will provide information on:

  • How to access Apprenticeships with our 3 simple steps
  • How we can support with the Apprenticeship recruitment process
  • The benefits of taking on an Apprentice.
