Torbay can be easily reached by road or rail and has regular bus services operating to, from and around the Bay. The M5 motorway is approximately 15 miles away, linked by the A380. The new South Devon Highway opened in Autumn 2015 which bypasses the existing A380 between Newton Abbot and Torbay and improved our link to the M5.
To help staff maximise their travel options whilst also reducing the number of cars on the roads, cut pollution, save money and protect the environment, we work in partnership with Devon County Council and Plymouth City Council to deliver CarShare Devon Opens in a new window.
CarShare Devon is a free website which matches drivers and passengers from across Devon who are doing the same or similar journeys. Over 11,000 people have already registered and are enjoying the benefits of meeting new people, reducing congestion and saving money!
