Torbay, which is also known as the 'English Riviera Opens in a new window', is in South Devon and comprises of three towns; Torquay, Paignton and Brixham, with a combined population of around 135,800.
Torbay has an array of leisure opportunities such as beaches, Harbours Opens in a new window, subtropical public gardens, scenic walks, seafood and international restaurants, theatres, attractions and events.
Along with its leisure opportunities, the English Riviera’s breath-taking landscape has designated UNESCO Global Geopark status, one of only seven in the entire UK and 140 in the world. A Geopark is an area of globally recognised, unique geological interest, designated by UNESCO.
Further along the attractive South Devon coastline there are further well known destinations such as Dartmouth and Salcombe. The City of Plymouth is just 35 miles away, while the City of Exeter is 22 miles. Inland, the countryside is equally picturesque, with Devon thatched cottages and Dartmoor National Park.
