This consultation is now closed. The final date for feedback was 31 August 2018.

Our Hackney Carriage and Private Hire Licensing Policy, outlines the criteria for both applicants and holders of drivers, vehicles and operators licences. It also guides licence holders and applicants as to what they may expect from us, the Licensing Authority.

Following a review of the Policy, a number of amendments have been identified. These amendments were agreed in principle by the Council’s Licensing Committee on 15 March 2018.

We are keen to hear your views on the draft policy and are holding an eight week consultation inviting any person or organisation with an interest, to feedback regarding the amendments via this questionnaire. This provides an opportunity for your comments to be considered prior to adoption of the draft Policy. Please read the policy and then follow the link to the questionnaire.
