Torbay Coast and Countryside Trust Board of Trustees

Description

The Board of Trustees manages the work of the Torbay Coast and Countryside Trust, which in turn leases 1700 acres of Public Open Space including some of Torbay's most important heritage and tourism assets, from the Council.  The Board is responsible for the strategic management of the Trust and carries ultimate legal and financial responsibility for the Trust.

 

Torbay Coast and Countryside Trust is a charitable trust environmentally focused organisation specifically set up in the late 1990's to operate and manage the countryside estate on behalf of Torbay Council.  The organisation has diversified over the years developing a demonstration farm (Occombe) and growing businesses, educational activity programmes and a farm shop.
