To confirm as correct records the Minutes of the meetings of this Committee held on 15 June 2022.

The Minutes of the meeting of the Appeals Committee (Transport) held on 15 June 2022 were confirmed as a correct record and signed by the Chairman.

Prior to consideration of the item in Minute 14 the press and public were formally excluded from the meeting on the grounds that the item involved the likely disclosure of exempt information as defined in paragraphs 1 and 2 of Part 1 of Schedule 12A of the Local Government Act 1972 (as amended).

In accordance with the procedure agreed in Minute 30/5/99 to hear Transport Appeals previously dismissed by the Officer Panel as follows:-

The Committee received information on an appeal for school transport, referred to as Case 01-21/22.  A representative from the Children’s Services Directorate was present and made representations in respect of the appeal. The appellant for Case 01-21/22 did not attend the meeting and confirmed the appeal should be heard in their absence.

Resolved:

That Case 01-21/22 be refused.
