Job Centre Plus hosts Jobsfair 7 October

Following the success of the previous annual ‘EATS’ (Employment, Advice and Training Seminar) events, Torbay Development Agency is pleased to again be supporting the Jobcentre Plus with their Seasonal Jobsfair event, Friday 7 October 2011 on the first floor at the Torquay Job Centre in Castle Circus, between 10am and 1pm. All jobseekers and employers are welcome to attend this free event.

Over the past two-years these events have provided more than 2000 local residents with information, advice and guidance to assist them in their search for employment alongside active seasonal and permanent vacancies.

The Jobcentre Plus has secured the support of a variety of organisations so far, but are still keen to hear from any other employers in Torbay and South Devon who would like to take part.

Torbay Development Agency Partnership Executive Debbie Passmore, said “We would encourage any employers to consider promoting any current or future identified vacancies, including seasonal positions for the Christmas and New year period, to sign-up to attend the event free of charge as an exhibitor.”
