Torbay Street Wardens

The main aim of the Street Warden Scheme is to improve the local environment, particularly in relation to litter, graffiti and anti-social behaviour as well as promoting community safety.
The Street Wardens spend the vast majority of their time out and about, working in the heart of the community. The Street Wardens regularly patrol neighbourhoods, meet with residents to resolve problems or concerns and organise projects. The Street Wardens offer a visible presence on the streets they patrol, which can help to make people feel safer in their community.
The Street Wardens work in specific areas of Torbay, namely Torquay Town Centre, Hele, Barton, Watcombe, Foxhole and Blatchcombe.

  • Issue fixed penalty notices for dog fouling.
