On 17 September 2009 at the RHS South West in Bloom presentation event in Yeovil, Somerset the results of the awards for all four towns was announced.
- Brixham-Silver Gilt
- Paignton-Silver Gilt
- Torquay-Silver Gilt
- St Marychurch and Babbacombe-Silver
These results are achieved through the hard work and diligence of Brixham in Bloom, Pride in Paignton, Torquay New Wave Action Group, St Marychurch and District Action Group
and with the support of Torbay Council.

- St Mary's Park, Brixham – St Marys Park Friends Group
Youngs Park People were also awarded the Gerald Ford Cup by the South West in Bloom judges for being the Best Neighbourhood Award entry in the whole of the South West (some 170+ entries).
Paignton Zoo also won theTSW Cup for their new VertiCrop system.
Paignton Bollards (in Winner Street) were awarded a certificate for their “local roots” theme.
