You can see information about the number of on-time applications for each secondary school and how the places were allocated.
If your child was born between 1 September 2005 and 31 August 2006 and you have not yet applied for a place at secondary school, please do so now.
You can save this form to your computer, complete it without printing it and email it to email@example.com . Or you can print the form, complete it and
- take it to your child’s school
- take it to Torbay Connections office (based in Paignton Library) or
- post it to Student Services, 4th Floor South, Tor Hill House c/o Town Hall, Castle Circus, Torbay TQ1 3DR
If you hand your application form in to a school or Connections, be sure to take a copy and get it date stamped when you hand it in. Keep this as evidence of your application. If you post your form to us, include a stamped, addressed envelope or postcard so that we can confirm we have received your application. Contact us if you have not had confirmation after 2 weeks.
You will be able to state up to 3 preferred schools and these can include schools outside of Torbay. Before applying you should read the TIPS 8 booklet. This contains details of the application process. The secondary supplement contains a summary of the admission criteria for each secondary school.
Because your application is late, it will not normally be processed until all the on-time applications have been processed. Please read the TIPS8 booklet for further information.

If you want your child to attend a selective school you will need to complete a registration form and return it directly to your preferred selective school by 7 September 2016.
Even if you complete a registration form, you will still need to complete the council’s application form (CAF1) by 31 October.
These schools have supplementary forms for you to complete and return to them directly.
School staff members can download form SUPP1 if you are applying for a place at your school (this is only relevant for some schools – please see admission policy for the school). You will also need to complete the council’s application form (CAF1).
