Should you wish to report a fault which you consider to be an emergency (i.e. a situation which presents an immediate danger such as flooding or a fallen tree) outside normal office hours i.e. Monday to Friday after 5pm or at weekends/bank holidays please contact the Emergency Control Room on 01803 550405.
Torbay Council, as Highway Authority, is responsible for managing and maintaining the road network in Torbay. We aim to provide a high quality customer service throughout the bay. As part of our commitment to improving services you can report the following types of defects online:-
Report a Highway Defect
- Bus sheters - broken glass/graffiti/damage
- Bridge damage/defects
- Potholes
- Pavement/road defects, obstructions and hazards
- Flooding/drainage
- Mud/debris on the road
- Missing/damaged drain or manhole
- Oil spillage/diesel on the road
- Theft of highway equipment
- Overgrown hedges/trees/verges
- Grass cutting
- Road signs/white lines
- Road markings/cats eyes
- Graffiti
- Fly posting
- And other highway defects
