What to do if you’re unhappy with our response

We aim to support families and provide a good quality service to children, families and other services working with children. Sometimes there may be disagreements about what is best for children, and like anyone with responsibilities to children we try to resolve these in an adult and caring way.
In the first instance, please talk to the person dealing with your case – if they do not know they are doing something wrong it is harder to change the way they are dealing with your concern.
If you are still unhappy, please ask to speak to a manager. Our team managers are very experienced and are able to resolve most concerns. They will look again at decisions, listen to how you have been left feeling, and act to resolve issues where possible.
If you are still unhappy you can lodge a representation or complaint with the authority. Please see our complaints page for more details on the complaints process.
