Childcare Sufficiency Assessment

Under the Childcare Act 2006 Torbay Council has a duty to ensure, so far as is reasonably practicable, that the provision of childcare in Torbay is sufficient to enable parents in the area to work or undertake education and training leading to work.
Torbay Council is required to assess the supply of and demand for childcare in the area. This was last completed in August 2011 and the full report is available (see Related Documents).
