Home to School and College Transport Framework

The Transport Team is implementing a new way to procure transport from the Children’s Service’s Home to School and College Transport Network. The aim is to ensure that Operators have the suitable skills and that the system is more fair and transparent.
A pre qualified Framework of Transport Operators has been set up. These Operators will now stand ready to accept opportunities via a mini competition to deliver Transport from the Home to School and College Transport network of routes.
Call Offs will be made from the Framework by offering opportunities via a mini competition to all Operators on the Framework via Devon Tenders, an electronic form of tendering system
The Framework Agreement will run for a period of 26 months with an opportunity to extend it for a further 22 months, with a minimum of six months extension increments.
