We are a statutory (NHS) provider of drug treatment. The team of consists of nurses, social workers and addiction counsellors, as well as two GPs with Special Interest in substance misuse who work alongside 27 GPs across Torbay. We provide either substitute medication (methadone and buprenorphine/subutex) or psychosocial treatments alongside a range of care-planned interventions to drug users assessed as having mild to moderate needs with a drug dependency.

We offer 'Open Access Sessions' for self referral into drug treatment (including access to EDP & DPT/Shrublands drug services) with no requirement to book appointments. Concerned others can also attend these sessions for information and advice at the following venues:

Advice, treatment, information and support for alcohol and drug users, their families, and friends. Includes prescribing, counselling, and onward referral to other agencies or rehabilitation centres. Referral via Torbay Primary Care Drugs Service (Torbay Care Trust).
