Finding out about planning applications
If you are interested in finding out about one particular application we would first advise that you search the Planning Online database. Here you can establish whether a formal application for planning permission has been submitted to us (all applications appear on Planning Online as soon as they are valid) and full details and plans for all formal applications are available to view from there.
If you are interested in finding out more about a planning application that you’ve read about in an article in the local press then please note that these applications are often at pre-planning stage and a formal application may not yet have been submitted to Torbay Council. You may also find more information about larger schemes by visiting or contacting the Torbay Development Agency
