This advice is aimed at house holders. The HSE have produced a number of leaflets which are more appropriate for businesses.

What to do if you have Asbestos in your home

Sometimes it will be necessary to take a sample, for example to identify the type of asbestos.  A test can be undertaken by a specialist firm.  Asbestos cement sheet can be taken to civic amenity site, Yalberton transfer station, Aspen way and It must be double bagged as described below, but the asbestos cement sheet has to be domestic waste and not commercial.
