Disabled Parking

Disabled Blue Badge holders using Council Car park facilities in Torbay must purchase a valid pay and display ticket from the machine in the car park and ensure this is clearly displayed along with their Disabled Blue Badge. One hours additional parking is given free to all disabled blue badge holders.

Disabled Persons Parking Permit

Torbay Council offer a car park permit for Blue Badge holders who have reduced mobility to enable them to park in Torbay Council operated car parks without payment. This permit may only be used when the blue badge holder is in the vehicle and the permit is displayed alongside a valid blue badge.

There is a set eligibility criteria which needs to be met in order to qualify for a disabled persons parking permit.
