Community/Day Centres
There are a number of day centres for people with learning disability and for older people. These services are only available following an assessment of need. This is a discussion with you to find out how best to support you with the problems you are having. Torbay Care Trust will look at your needs and decide whether you are eligible for services including attending one of their day centres.
There is a charge for day centre services.

Better Caring can help with searching for a care home. They are a subsidiary of The Stationery Office and provide a searchable database. Inspection reports covering independent care homes are available from the CSCI and South and West Devon NHS
