Our Objectives

• To support the development work on Torbay's multi-agency Family Support Strategy (different agencies working together in Torbay to support families).
• To offer a range of support through group-work opportunities which respond to the assessed individual needs of children and their families.
• We work together with families, helping them through their difficulties by offering time, practical advice and support. We work in partnership with families, building on the strengths rather than focusing on their problems. We provide an opportunity for families to identify goals to overcome difficulties and develop coping skills

How can I be involved?

Children and families are invited to attend meetings prior to the work starting and to Review Meetings on completion of the work. Throughout the time of attendance we welcome comment and feedback from both children and adults.

There is a volunteer bank which members of the public may join, subject to Criminal Records Bureau (CRB) check, training and induction package.
