There are three options available for having a donation seat in a park or seafront location.

Option One

A new memorial seat can be installed in place of an existing undedicated seat. The type of seat used, either a Chepstow or a Cavandish, depends on the type of seat already present in the chosen area.

Unfortunately we are unable to install additional memorial seats to areas that have an over provision of seating and also where there are not any un-dedicated seats for removal.

Alternatively, we have two further options available.

Option Two

The refurbishment of an existing undedicated seat.

Option Three

The "plaque only" request, is the installation of a memorial plaque to an existing un-dedicated seat in one of Torbay's Parks and Garden.

If you wish to donate a memorial seat you may do so by simply completing the memorial form available and confirming which of the three options you would like to pursue.

Memorial seat applications for new seats (option one) are received all year round, but new seat installations only occur approximately twice a year depending on the number of requests received.

Applications for refurbishments (option 2) and "plaque only" (option 3) requests are processed and carried out all year round.
