Maritime News & Events
Events
Every year Tor Bay Harbour plays host to over 25 Maritime Events on and off the water ranging from various sailing events to major powerboat events. Many clubs and organisations choose Tor Bay for their events as it is a prime sheltered location. The Bay is a favourite with tourists and visitors too, as the Maritime Events can be seen from practically anywhere on the Bay's 22 miles of coastline. It almost acts like an amphitheatre with the sea being the stage. 2009 will see more events being staged than previous years as the location is becoming more and more popular due to the good facilities and great location.
Boat Users
We would recommend for safety reasons if you are intending to use your boat within Torbay on the day of an event you should check for
safety notices (HM Notices) refering to forthcoming maritime events which take place on the water. Or please feel free to contact your nearest Harbour Office.
